The city of Los Angeles has been battled over ever since the Lakers and Clippers moved into the Staples Center together in 1999. New superstars have since reignited that rivalry and it is now must-see TV.

While the Lakers have the advantage historically in banners and trophies, the Clippers have established themselves as of late as a serious threat to running the city of angels. The franchise series record is 148 wins to 72 wins in favor of the Lakers. However, the Clippers have taken advantage the past 10 years winning 27 of the last 39 match-ups with the help of the “post-Kobe” rebuild period.

In this week’s episode, hosts BJ Boyer and Randy King discuss the two nationally televised games between these two adversaries on opening night as well as Christmas day.

Who will be in the starting lineups for both games? Will these two games be a preview for the Western Conference Finals?

Other topics discussed by King and Boyer include: Kyle Kuzma participating for the Team USA FIBA World Cup team, ‘Who really will be the focal point of the Lakers offense?’, and what would an All-Laker draft look like?
