It wasn’t too long ago that Melvin Ejim had his historic night against TCU in his senior year.

Since Melvin Ejim was just signed by the Orlando Magic the other day, I thought it would be nice to take a look back at Ejim’s historic game for Iowa State.

Not only did Melvin Ejim finish with a Big 12 record of 48 points in a single game, but he also recorded 18 rebounds. The most impressive part was that he shot 20 for 24 from the floor.

It was such a memorable game for Melvin Ejim on February 8th and it is one that NBA scouts would always remember. It was the main reason for Ejim being signed onto the 76ers Summer League team last year and then the Magic’s this year.

Fortunately, the Summer League appearance this time around has secured Ejim a spot on the Orlando Magic for the foreseeable future.
