Brice Johnson had his hands all over this game and with his dominant performance, he became just the second player in Tar Heel history to have at least 39 points and 23 rebounds in a single game. Everywhere you looked, Johnson was either getting a rebound or dunking the ball. 7 of his 23 rebounds were offensive and he shot a very efficient 14-16 from the field.
North Carolina’s star guard, Marcus Paige also added in 30 points and 5 assists that easily got overlooked by Brice’s takeover. It was a solid conference victory for the Tar Heels who look battle Syracuse on Saturday.
