Less than three months after suffering a gruesome right leg injury during Team USA’s Basketball Showcase in Las Vegas, Indiana Pacers swingman Paul George was seen shooting jumpers after Pacers practice on Monday. George was launching jumpers from behind the arc and midrange, and Vigilant Sports got some footage of George’s shoot around.

George, who suffered the injury on August 1st, was cleared in September to put weight on the leg and partake in upper-body workouts. Although many consider it to be unrealistic, George says that he plans to play at “some point” during this NBA season.

George may not be able to play in the Association this year, but that doesn’t stop him from going head to head with his dog.

George posted a video of a one-on-one matchup between him and his hound on Instagram Tuesday evening, and it was actually pretty cool stuff. Check it out below.

It’s good to see George happily marching down the road of recovery, and hopefully he can continue his ascension to superstar status once he returns to the Pacers.
