VIDEO: Marc Gasol post move highlights vs. Hawks

Memphis took a loss to the best in the East Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday. Marc Gasol played without his front court mate Zach Randolph but gave us some nifty post work to fall back on.

First, Gasol on the right block against Millsap. He takes a couple of set up dribbles and spins to the base line for a fade away. This is Gasol’s version of the patented Dirk Nowitzki move, which I credited Gasol as mastering in my impersonators tribute. Gasol makes a strong spin before setting up his fall away to create his look at the rim. His shooting touch makes the move possible.

Then Gasol wanted to play some HORSE with Al Horford. This time it looks like he could have gone back to the fall away but might have lost his feel for the rim. Check out how the Spaniard decided to improvise.
