Yesterday, in the game between the Knicks and the Suns, we were able to see a great match-up between Kristaps Porzingis and Marquese Chriss. Both young stars have had a nice star to their careers and it was definitely something that basketball fans wanted to see.
The Suns ended up getting the best of the Knicks by a score of 113-111 as Kristaps Porzingis fouled out early on in overtime. Marquese Chriss finished with 14 points and 12 boards while Porzingis went for 34 and 8. Both young guns had terrific games, but they definitely wouldn’t be interested in congratulating each other after what transpired in the game.
Throughout the game, you could tell that these two were not fans of each other. The pushing and shoving continued for most of the game until it finally culminated in the 3rd quarter when the two of them got into it.
The next time these two teams will face off is on January 21st in MSG. That will definitely be a must-watch game once again. Both teams are striving to prove something this season, respectively, and their young stars are showing the kind of passion and grit that fans of both teams can surely appreciate.
