Klay Thompson lit things up last night in their first game back after losing their first game of the season to the Milwaukee Bucks. Thompson was feeling it, notching a season high of 43 points, 27 of which came in the third quarter which outscored Phoenix’s 19 third quarter points.

This is nothing new or anything we haven’t seen before. This is the same guy that broke the record for most points in a quarter, so this performance is not shocking at all. However, it was a great sign for the Warriors and Klay himself. Despite the team’s success, Thompson has gotten off to a slow start early this season not producing the way he wanted but he’s turned things around, especially this month in which he’s averaging 27 points, shooting 50% overall and from behind the arc.
To combine with Klay’s performance, Steph Curry also added in 25 points and 7 assists and Draymond Green messed around and got another triple double, scoring 16 points combined with 11 rebounds and 10 assists.
