My favorite basketball player of all-time, Kobe Bryant, has endured his fair share of struggles so far this season, so I’ve found consolation in the fact that another aging shooting guard, Dwyane Wade, is at least doing so gracefully.

Wade showed flashes of his old self last night in a thrilling 103-100 overtime victory over the Indiana Pacers, first skying for a vintage alley-oop finish off of a Goran Dragic feed in the 1st quarter, then by sending the game into OT with a buzzer-beating layup.

Wade finished the victory with 27 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists, a much stronger outing than his 3-f0r-10 stinker against the Washington Wizards the night before.

Miami has now won three in a row, and are one game behind the Chicago Bulls in the loss column for the Eastern Conference’s second seed.
