I came with an unpopular opinion during the offseason that the Sacramento Kings might just be a team that other teams won’t want to play, for several reasons — one of those reasons was Marco Belinelli.

The Kings signed Belinelli as a free agent from the Spurs, and in his debut with Sacramento he put in 32 points off the bench. Belinelli also had 4 assists and 4 steals. Even though it’s just preseason, you can see the difference Belinelli makes for the as a floor spacer and shot creator. He’ll be an important factor helping to validate the new-look Kings, and he’s off to an excellent start.
