The Atlantic Files is back with episode number FIFTY! That’s right, we’ve officially made it to the big 5-0. So, it’s only right that we have a special guest on this latest episode. David Vertsberger(@_Verts) of VICE Sports, FanRag Sports, and Fansided joins me to talk some Atlantic Division basketball.
First of all, we had to address the two Atlantic teams that are in the 2017 NBA Playoffs right now. What it will take for the Boston Celtics to win their first round matchup, and if they can make it through the winner of the Wizards and Hawks series. Then, how the Toronto Raptors can overcome their postseason struggles. Will Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks continue to show their promise, or will Toronto actually wake up and win the series.
Then, of course, there are the three teams who are a mix of dysfunctional and just sad. The New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets, and Philadelphia 76ers have a lot to figure out in the upcoming offseasons. The Sixers need to make the best decisions possible in the draft. The Nets have to figure out how to rebuild without any of their first round picks, and the Knicks have to sort out all of this drama between Phil Jackson and Carmelo Anthony.
