i-2Michael Carter-Williams’ clutch layup earned Philadelphia a second straight victory.

After defeating the Brooklyn Nets on the road Friday night and the Indiana Pacers in thrilling fashion at home on Saturday night, the Philadelphia Sixers are on a two-game winning streak.

2013 Rookie of the Year Michael Carter-Williams maneuvered around Pacers big man Roy Hibbert, and connected on a beautiful finger-roll to give Philly a 93-92 lead with 9 seconds left, and after stopping Indiana on one final possession, the Sixers emerged victorious.

Unfortunately for Sixers fans, that isn’t much to be excited about as victories are not beneficial to the “tank.” However, I am personally happy for this tough Sixers bunch, a team that continues to play hard and refuses to quit. Major respect to them.
