LeBron James reintroduced the chalk-toss during Cleveland’s season opener on Thursday.
Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James, who asked Cavs fans over the summer if he should bring back his famous pre-game chalk-toss, kicked off the 2014-15 NBA season by lobbing the chalk into the air before Cleveland tipped off their season opener against the New York Knicks.
LeBron indicated that he planned on bringing back the chalk toss by tweeting out the results of the fans votes today.

Nike, the clothing and sneaker giant that sponsors James, handed out commemorative chalk-toss bags to Cavalier fans prior to the game, hoping fans would join in on James’ pre-game ritual.

Too bad for Nike, Cleveland fans were too busy taking pictures, as they went berserk over the return of their King.
Welcome home LeBron!
