Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder found themselves in a thrilling overtime clash with the Carmelo Anthony-less New York Knicks inside of Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night, and the slender seven-foot sniper put on a show for those in attendance.
Durant dropped a season-high 44 points in the 128-122 victory, marking a personal career best at MSG. He did his usual work in the clutch, and also snagged down 14 rebounds. This marks Durant’s 45th 40-point outing since the most in the NBA since 2007-2008.
