Brooklyn Nets swingman Joe Johnson isn’t what he once was, but he still possesses the capability to show flashes of what he used to be. In the Nets’ narrow 105-104 win over the Denver Nuggets on Monday evening, Johnson reached into his bag of tricks twice, first hitting Nuggets center Jusuf Nurkic with a slick crossover that send the big man lumbering to the floor.

But of course good ol’ Iso Joe saved the best for the game’s waning seconds, as the Nuggets clung to a one-point lead and the Nets had a chance to win with 1.3 seconds remaining. Johnson was able to elude Danilo Gallinari just enough to catch the ball and get a semi-clean look which he was able to bank in at the buzzer.

Johnson finished the game with 12 points, and these two baskets, will go down as some of the most memorable in what his been a mostly forgettable season for the 34-year-old Johnson.
