The Dallas Mavericks and Sacramento Kings waged war against each other inside the American Airlines Center in the Rajon Rondo Bowl on Tuesday night, and although the abhorred former Mavs point guard was sidelined with back spasms, the contest still did not disappoint.

Fans were treated to a thrilling double-overtime affair, one that was capped off by a Deron Williams buzzer-beating three-pointer that helped Dallas edge Sacramento 117-116. Williams curled off a screen, duped Rudy Gay into jumping with a beautiful pump-fake then launched the trey ball to clinch the victory. Hysteria then ensued, with fans going bonkers and his teammates serenading him with cheers and other celebratory gestures.

Williams had himself a vintage game, scoring 25 points and dishing out four assists for Dallas. The Mavericks erased a seven-point deficit with 1:20 left to emerge victorious.
