The New Orleans Pelicans’ 116-113 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday night seemed like something out of NBA 2K15. Tyreke Evans, Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis posted the gaudiest of numbers, and Davis nailed an absurd double-clutch three pointer at the buzzer to beat the Thunder.

Davis, the hero of the contest, posted a cool 41 points, 10 rebounds and 2 blocks, while Evans recorded a stat line of 22 points, 16 assists and 10 rebounds. Westbrook, who tied the game at the free throw line after being fouled on a three before Davis’ incredible bucket, had 48 points, 11 assists and 9 rebounds in the contest. This comes just one game after he dropped 45 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists on the Pelicans on Wednesday.

Davis’ three pointer was the first one he made all year, and it couldn’t have come at a better time for New Orleans, as they extended their lead over Oklahoma City by two games in the race for the Western Conference’s 8th seed.

When asked about his special shot, Davis had this to say to reporters:

FEAR THE BROW.
