Orlando Magic high-flyer Aaron Gordon may have been denied the Dunk Contest crown by Zach LaVine during last month’s NBA All-Star Weekend, but that hasn’t deterred Gordon from throwing down contest-worthy slams during actual games.
During the third quarter of Orlando’s 98-107 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers last night, Gordon received the ball from teammate Victor Oladipo on a fast break and put on a show with a fifthly windmill slam. I always marvel at how Gordon makes dunks such as these look so routine, and I also love the reaction from Lakers rookie and fellow rim-rattler Larry Nance Jr. on the bench.
