The 2006-2007 Golden State Warriors are remembered for two things: knocking off the top-ranked Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the playoffs, and Baron Davis posterizing Mr. “AK-47,” Andrei Kirilenko.
The reactions from B-Diddy’s teammates and the raucous crowd are equally entertaining – Al Harrington gets up off the bench in shock; Mickael Pietrus’ hands are glued to his head a la “Simon Says;” and Matt Barnes looks like he just witnessed the most heinous crime imaginable.
However, there were multiple crimes committed that night in Oakland:
1. Davis defied the law of gravity.
2. Kirilenko’s dignity was murdered in cold blood.
Poor AK-47. Perhaps he should have changed his nickname to “cap gun” after this game.
