My oldest surrogate sister is NaTasha Pointer (now NaTasha Yamoah) and one of the best point guards I’ve ever seen. She’s the all-time leader in assists (men or women) at Rutgers University and she’s the school’s all-time leader in triple-doubles. I watched her lead Rutgers to their first ever Final Four appearance in 2000, and around that same time she received an invite to be a counselor at Michael Jordan’s camp in Chicago.
That’s when she took the chance to play the best player of all time one on one.
Jordan scores twice in the video doing Jordan stuff. Tasha scored on her first possession but admittedly traveled before hitting the shot. She challenged Jordan’s top foot one time, and you’ll see he wasn’t having that. Tasha hit the last point by pulling up from three right off check. Ever since, she’s been able to say she scored on Mike.
Tasha is currently the assistant women’s basketball coach at St. John’s University.
