According to ESPN.com, the Toronto Raptors have picked up the fourth-year team options on Jonas Valanciunas and Terrence Ross, fully guaranteeing their contracts through the 2015-16 NBA season.
Valanciunas is a ferocious rebounder who played stellar basketball for Toronto last season, averaging a career high 11.3 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. He led the Raptors in rebounds (714), and double-double’s (26). Valanciunas started in 81 games for the Raptors last season.
Ross also had a career year last season, averaging 10.9 points and 3.1 rebounds per game for the Raptors. Ross exploded for 51 points on Jan. 25 against the Los Angeles Clippers, which tied Vince Carter’s franchise record for most points in a game. Ross started 62 games for Toronto last year.
