Paul George is back and he’s letting the NBA know about it! George had a career night against the Utah Jazz, putting up a career high of 48 points and 8 rebounds. Despite the great performance, the Pacers came up short in overtime losing, 119-122.
Paul George has been on a tear this season and has definitely made a case to be in the MVP discussion early this season. He is 3rd in scoring averaging 27.6 points per game and top 10 in player efficiency with a rating of 26.3. George has led his team to a 12-7 start which currently places them as the 4th seed in the Eastern Conference. Although it’s early, this is a team you want to keep your eye on throughout the season because with Paul George playing like this, they can easily make some noise come playoff time.
