Indiana will be shorthanded on opening night.
On Monday afternoon, the Indiana Pacers announced that guards George Hill and C.J. Watson, along with forward David West will miss the season opener against the Philadelphia 76ers due to injury.
West is expected to miss three games with a sprained right ankle, Hill is expected to miss three weeks with a left knee contusion and Watson will miss at least two weeks with a bruised right foot. With Paul George sidelined for the year with a broken right leg, and Lance Stephenson in Charlotte, Indiana will have four new faces on the floor for opening night.
Indiana, who has made the Eastern Conference Finals two years in a row, open up their season at home on Wednesday.
