Rajon Rondo is now a member of the Dallas Mavericks.
Christmas came early for the Dallas Mavericks, as they negotiated and agreed to a trade yesterday that sent star point guard Rajon Rondo from the Boston Celtics to the Mavs for Brandan Wright, Jameer Nelson, Jae Crowder and a future first-round draft pick.
Many figure that a deal of this magnitude would be finalized in a more formal setting, but according to Keith Olbermann, Mavericks owner Mark Cuban put the finishing touches on the Rondo deal in the ‘Colbert Report’s’ green room.

The Colbert Report ended it’s successful decade-long run last night with a celebrity loaded singalong that featured Olbermann, Cuban, Big Bird, Kareem Abdul-Jabaar and Bob Costas just to name a few.
Hopefully for Cuban, Rondo gives him much more to sing about in the near future.
