This All-Star Weekend was filled with entertaining matchups, crazy dunks, a legend’s farewell, and record setting offense. It was a great weekend to say the least. Russell Westbrook probably feels the same way as he decided to go for 31 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 5 steals. Last year, he turned in a 41-point performance so it seemed quite difficult to top that kind of game. He was going up against Paul George, this year, who ended up with 41 points himself. They have both gotten close to the record set by Wilt Chamberlain for most points in a single All-Star Game. The West was not going to be denied a win though as they almost scored 200 points in a 196-173 easy victory over the East. Since the West took the game, Russell Westbrook took home back-to-back MVP honors.
