The San Antonio Spurs received DeMar DeRozan, Jakob Poeltl, and a protected first-round pick in return for Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green. So, the Raptors improved if Leonard is healthy, but how did the Spurs end up? Alex seems to think there’s no way Leonard stays in Toronto, but Mike has a more optimistic outlook for The Six.
The Brooklyn Nets made more some moves to try out some new players. Shabazz Napier is the latest project for the Nets and both Mike and Alex are leaning towards liking the deal. Has Brooklyn made a bad deal yet when Sean Marks took over?
Finally, the guys wrap up Summer League, give their final thoughts, and talk about the Basketball Society All-Summer League teams. Then, they give their thoughts on the rumors about Dennis Schroder getting shipped out of Atlanta for Carmelo Anthony. Mike and Alex both believe the Hawks could get someone better on any other team in the NBA, but the fit is also strange for Oklahoma City.
