Stephen Garnett is the assistant men’s basketball coach at Whitman College and he has a different handshake with all of the players on the team. The pre-game handshake has become part of the different rituals that players like to do, but you more often see them between teammates, not with coaches. Needless to say this is completely fantastic. Coaches have enough on their plate to worry about having to remember over a dozen different handshakes, but what a way to connect with your players. Big up, Coach Garnett.
