Whether you choose to acknowledge it or not, filmmaker and New York Knicks fan Spike Lee is an integral part of the basketball world. I mean, after blessing us with the hoops-centered film “He Got Game” and his infamous verbal sparring with Reggie Miller, it’s hard to turn Spike away.
Lee now has his hands in another part of the basketball world, as he will serve as the official director of 2K Sports’ next installment of their NBA 2K video game series.
As NBA 2K16’s release date of September 29th steadily approaches, the video game company is beginning to intensify their promotional efforts, and on Monday they released an epic promo narrated by Lee, highlighting Stephen Curry’s meteoric rise to the top of the basketball world.
NBA 2K16 will feature James Harden and Anthony Davis along with Curry on three separate covers. A special edition of the game with Michael Jordan on the cover will be released along with the regular edition. Be on the lookout for more stuff regarding 2K16 on our site.
