Nick Young’s 2014-15 season with the Los Angeles Lakers was a horrid one, as his season was spoiled by a knee injury that allowed him to play in only 42 games. Young, who isn’t a huge advocate of efficiency in the first place, often played wildly, which caused some reported clashing between he and Lakers head coach Byron Scott.

In the Spring a rumor surfaced that Young was to be placed on the trade block during the Summer, but the Lakers remained mum on the subject. Nothing ever came to fruition on the Young front, and he’s now a key cog in what Los Angeles hopes to be a strong bench unit this season. Young and the newly anointed Lakers “Bench Mob,” rattled off a 12-0 run in the first quarter after a sluggish start for L.A., and he ended the period with this three-point bomb.

Pretty swaggy if you ask me.
