i-6LeBron put on an incredible display in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

After dropping Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals on their home floor, the Atlanta Hawks were faced with a must-win situation in Game 2 on Friday night as the Cavaliers could take a commanding 2-0 lead with the series heading back to Cleveland for Game’s 3 and 4.

With Kyrie Irving in street clothes, and J.R. Smith unlikely to duplicate his historic shooting night, the Hawks seemed primed for a victory… right? Not on LeBron James’ watch.

James showcased his basketball brilliance with a masterful 30 point, 11 assist, 9 rebound performance in a 94-82 Cavalier victory. LeBron scored or assisted on 60 of Cleveland’s 94 points, a mere illustration of how dominant the two-time champion was in Game 2.

That performance from James is one that’ll resonate with me for awhile. He did everything he had to in order to land Cleveland in the winner’s circle, and he refused to be denied. It looks as if James is headed to his 5th straight NBA Finals.
