Kristaps Porzingis, the fourth overall pick by the New York Knicks, has went from being booed on draft day to being the hopeful savior of the franchise. Knicks fans have rejoiced over the potential that this tall Latvian product possesses. Even one of our own Society members has paid homage to him.
In the latest tribute to Kristaps the Almighty, Knicks fans Tyler and Conor Byrne created a short film that debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival. The film is entitled “Porzingod,” and it stars John Leguizamo. One can imagine what the film would be about, and obviously it’s something that has more of a comedic feel, but the production value is great. These two die-hard Knicks fans may have a future in film, or even more specifically, films about the Knicks. Check it out for yourself below:
