Kobe Bryant’s home finale against the Utah Jazz was a star-studded event, with the likes of Jack Nicholson, Kanye West and George Lopez in attendance to witness Bryant’s historic night as he put up 60 points (on 50 shots) in his career concluding contest.
After such a virtuosic performance to close the book on a spectacular career, one would surmise that Bryant would leave Staples Center with his final game ball in his possession. However according to music icon Steve Stoute’s Instagram and some hilarious video footage, rap great Jay-Z may have marched out of Staples with the coveted rock.
I doubt Jay-Z actually got to keep the ball, but if he indeed did, let’s hope he cherishes a great memento from an incredibly memorable evening. Also peep HOV’s shoe game, as he’s rocking the Air Jordan VIII from exclusive “Kobe Pack.” GOAT’s respect GOAT’s.
