VIDEO: James Harden 31 first-half points en route to season-high

The last time the Rockets met the Trail Blazers was their first round match up in last year’s playoffs when Damian Lillard ended Houston’s season in Game 6. James Harden must have taken that into account on Monday night.

Harden scored in his typical array of fashion; isolating, forcing the issue on the drive, getting to the free throw line (12-for-13) and knocking down the three-point shot (4-for-9) to finish with a season-high 44 points.

Harden had 31 of his points at halftime. He also had 7 assists and 5 steals.
