At 15 years old, standing at 6’11, the late great Manute Bol’s son, Bol Bol, is making a name for himself amongst an elite class of young stars. Built like his father with a tall-linky stature, Bol is doing everything you would expect him to do plus more. Blocking shots and getting rebounds but also putting the ball on the floor, making moves off the dribble and pulling up from three. He has a wide variety of moves and such versatility at a young age is so promising.
You would expect him to be posting up 95% of the time and working on his inside game, but as we know, the game of basketball is changing while more big men are trying to perfect their outside game. Although I love what he’s doing thus far, I don’t believe he should stray away from perfecting his post game as well. Bol obviously has some things he can work on, such as putting on some weight and changing some mechanics in his shooting form, but he’s very young and has a lot of time to develop. Time is on his side and with such great talent and potential, this is one prospect that I will be keeping my eye on.
