According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Tim Hardaway Jr. is on his way out of New York and headed to Atlanta.
The Hawks who just traded down to the nineteenth pick are looking to trade again. They will trade the pick, who turned out to be Jerian Grant, to the Knicks. The Knicks unload a volume shooter to get a point guard. It looks like Phil Jackson is actually making some good moves now. Grant should be a nice upgrade at the point guard spot.
On the other hand, the deal is kind of odd for the Hawks. Hardaway Jr. seems like a weird fit to the Hawks system, but if anyone can mold a guy to a system, then Budenholzer can probably do it. This means another shooter to go along with Korver that might be coming off the bench.
