Well it’s Thursday of the NCAA tournament, and you know what that means. It’s going to be one great and hectic day in college basketball. The beginning of the NCAA tournament is upon us and that calls for game winners, upsets, and either some very happy or sad players going home.
To get us all in the spirit of the NCAA tournament madness, I thought I would share one of my favorite videos of the past NCAA Tournament game winners.
This video captures the spirit of what is to come over the next few weeks. Buzzer beaters, players leaving it all on the floor, there isn’t anything better than this.
There are two teams to look out for today when it comes to upset picks. #12 Yale vs. #5 Baylor is an intriguing match-up. Yale is one of the hottest teams coming into the tournament and have something to prove as they are in the tournament for the first time since the early 1960’s. One other intriguing match-up is #13 Iona vs. #4 Iowa State. Iowa State, in my opinion, is an overrated 4 seed waiting to be knocked off. They have been known to play down to the competition and Iona is a very up-tempo team who can score, score, score. In fact, better than most in the country.
Well, gear up because it’s going to go by quick, and you don’t want to miss all of the MADNESS.
