It’s going to be a tough game to watch tonight for Blazers fans as their team will have to face a Warriors team on the road. As Draymond Green said after Game 4, the Trail Blazers chances are just about done. They have had a fun and scrappy team that was not even supposed to be in the playoffs after they lost big man LaMarcus Aldridge to free agency. They have had an incredible season filled with a lot of trial and tribulation that got them to this point in the second round of the playoffs.

Unfortunately for them, they are facing a Warriors team that just got back the first ever unanimous NBA MVP Stephen Curry. Curry dropped 17 points in overtime which is an NBA record, and 40 points overall in the game. The Trail Blazers role players have had trouble away from home, and star Damian Lillard will need to be more efficient than he was in Game 4. He did have 36 points but going 9 of 30 from the floor is just not going to do it.

At the same time, he doesn’t have much option because he is lacking the help inside offensively from his teammates, and will need help from the role players if they are going to have any chance. The Warriors will be a better defensive team at home like they always are. Close out games are always tough, but we know what the Warriors are capable of, and they have been in this situation before.

Gear up Trail Blazers fans, your team will have a fighters chance, but a knockout is soon to come.
