After a solid sophomore year in the NBA Jabari Parker showed that he could be an all-star talent in the pros. For 51 games the Milwaukee faithful got to see what they had hoped they were getting from the former Duke standout. He worked hard on his 3 point shot and was rewarded by elevating his 3 point percentage from 25 to 36% over the course of just one season. Stretching the defense is increasingly important in today’s game and if he is able to combine with sharpshooters Khris Middleton and Malcolm Brogdon to stretch the floor, the lane will continue to be open for Giannis Antetokounmpo to wreack havoc.
Unfortunately, Parker went down with his second ACL tear in 3 years during the season. One can only wonder how good the Bucks could have been as they continued to make a determined playoff push with a short-handed roster. With Parker healthy, the Bucks are right on the cusp of challenging for the top tier in the conference with a wealth of young talent and athleticism. Bucks nation is hoping for a speedy recovery from the 21-year-old forward that will get them to challenge for an Eastern Conference Finals spot next season.
Jabari Parker is a very talented forward who would easily be higher on this list if it weren’t for the constant injury issue. Right now, he is at the 49th spot on our list, but we can easily see him climb up this list if he were to prove this upcoming season when he returns that he has officially beaten the injury bug.
