James Harden is one of the most gifted athletes around.
A two-time NBA MVP, Harden, 30, is averaging 34.4 points, 6.4 rebounds and 7.4 assists per game for the sixth place Houston Rockets who sit at 40-24.
On this week’s episode of the Scoop B Radio Podcast, Metta World Peace discussed Harden’s talent on the basketball court.
“He’s nice,” Metta World Peace told me.
“It’s not even a comparison. It’s not like you’re comparing him to LeBron or something like this LeBron or that LeBron, like you got four different LeBrons. This James Harden right here, the last two or three years, there’s no comparison. You know he’s just like – this is the BEST James Harden. I don’t even know how old he is. What’s he 32, 33? I mean, he’s done some historic shit. What was he averaging this year? Like 38, 39? That’s MJ shit! But MJ plays way better defense than James Harden.”
Harden’s ability to score with the basketball and his court vision is exciting to watch. While on the podcast, I asked Metta World Peace if Harden reminded him of Tracy McGrady. “Absolutely not,” he said.
“He’s different than James Harden. I mean Tracy’s amazing, but with James Harden what he’s doing is just…crazy. It’s just like, who’s doing shit like that? Who’s playing like that? He’s at a level above a few people, you know? He’s above a few levels, definitely.”
