Cleveland has picked up A.J. Price off of waivers.
On Sunday afternoon, the Cleveland Cavaliers announced that they have picked up veteran guard A.J. Price, who was recently waived by the Indiana Pacers, off of waivers.To make room on their roster for Price the Cavaliers waived rookie guard Will Cherry who played a total of 69 minutes this season for the Cavs.
Cleveland issued a press release to announce the addition of Price.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have received guard A.J. Price by waiver claim (waived by Indiana) and have also waived guard Will Cherry, Cavaliers General Manager David Griffin announced today from Cleveland Clinic Courts. The Cavs roster now stands at 15.
Price, who was waived by Cleveland on November 1st, appeared in 10 games for Indiana this season, and averaged 10.5 points and 2.7 assists per game.
