As the All-Star weekend concluded in its festivities last night, the attention for the NBA now turns to the post-season. A place the Los Angeles Lakers are trying to get to.
Currently sitting in the 10th spot in the Western Conference and three games behind the eighth-seeded Los Angeles Clippers and two games behind the Sacramento Kings, the Lakers are hoping to hit stride in the last 25 games of the season.
In this episode, Lakers Lair hosts Randy King and BJ Boyer discuss the chances of seeing the purple and gold back in the post-season for the first time in five years.
With the Lakers last 26 games after the All-Star break, 15 of those opponents are above .500.
The Lakers best hope is to come out of the break and beat the Pelicans (twice), Memphis, and Phoenix to get everybody on the roster into playoff mode for the month of March. pic.twitter.com/9rlM36mOXb

As we are sure everybody knows, Lakers trade target and Pelicans superstar is still wearing 23 for the city of New Orleans.
Although Los Angeles did not get the prized big man, they did manage to acquire sharpshooters Reggie Bullock and Mike Muscala.
King and Boyer discuss that it might not have made a huge splash that Lakers fans might have wanted, it was a move that was necessary.
With several other topics discussed in between segments, King and Boyer wrap up the podcast by discussing which player on the roster (not named LeBron) is believed to have the biggest impact in the Lakers post-season push.
Will Brandon Ingram finish strong? Will Kyle Kuzma take his Rising Stars MVP performance and carry it forward? Who begins to separate themselves in the Lakers frontcourt? All of these questions are answered in episode 16!
