It’s time for the NBA Finals, and in usual Finals fashion, Guillermo of the Jimmy Kimmel Live! Show made his rounds of interviews. However, one specific individual wasn’t about the “playing”.
Guillermo’s quick interview with Iman Shumpert.
Guillermo asked Iman Shumpert about his 80’s style flattop,
“Can I level your hair?” Guillermo asked.
“Nah,” Shumpert said. “You playing, bruh. I ain’t about the playing right now… Yo, I ain’t with the playing. Y’all might have to get him; he’s playing.”
You can tell this is Shumpert’s first rodeo because we always see players and coaches have fun with the Jimmy Kimmel reporter, even the people that are always viewed as serious, such as Coach Gregg Popovich; but Iman Shumpert wasn’t having it yesterday and he made it known!
Guillermo, quickly got the memo and went on about his day. It’s safe to say, we won’t be seeing anymore interviews between these two, anytime soon.
Since Shumpert and his flattop wasn’t “about the playing” yesterday, let’s see if he’s about it tonight as the Cleveland Cavaliers take on the Golden State Warriors in Game 1 of the NBA Finals at 9 P.M.
