Even though we didn’t see the big name stars of Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, or LeBron James, Team USA still put on an exciting game in preparation for their 2016 Olympics run in Rio.

The 2015 Team USA’s mini-camp ended with an exhibition game that appeared more as a pick-up game. With the devastating injury happening to Paul George last summer, the players took this game more lightly, to lessen the chance of any possible injuries.

DeMarcus Cousins came to play on his birthday, dropping 24 points to combine with his 11 rebounds. But Andre Drummond was doing all he could to make his presence felt. He ended the night with 27 points and 16 rebounds, but it didn’t result in a win for Team Blue. Team White took home the victory, winning 134-128.

It’s now up to Coach Krzyzewski and staff to choose which 12-man team they want to represent the U.S. in Rio. With so many names and so much talent, it’s a hard task to only choose 12, but the staff has a lot of time to deliberate since USA Chairman, Jerry Colangelo stated the roster wont be finalized until after the 2015-2016 NBA season.
