The Oklahoma City Thunder are healthy this season, and are off to a strong 3-0 start. OKC has notched victories over the San Antonio Spurs, Orlando Magic and the Denver Nuggets, with Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant resembling the best duo in the NBA.

Last night in OKC’s 117-93 drubbing of Denver, Westbrook provided fans with yet another remarkable highlight, something that’s become a routine practice for the point guard with unworldly athletic ability. Westbrook leapt into the air to hammer home a ferocious putback slam over two Nuggets, and the crowd roared in excitement. Nasty stuff.

On the young season Durant is averaging 30 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game, while Westbrook, who was last year’s scoring champion, is putting up 32 points, 8.7 assists and 7.3 rebounds a night. Both players are currently top-five in scoring, and I’m personally salivating at the prospect of them continuing this output for the entire season.
