VIDEO: Nick Young, not Kobe Bryant, hits the go-ahead three-pointer to lift Lakers past Spurs
On a night where Kobe Bryant was harped on in his race to pass Michael Jordan on the all-time scoring list, Nick Young became the Lakers’ hero.
This also coming after Bryant’s viral video and the “soft like Charmin” line.
The Lakers found themselves in a dire situation down the stretch, and on this empty possession, down by 2 with the shot clock winding down, Nick Young finds the ball and hits a contested three-pointer to give the Lakers their final 112-110 lead against the Spurs.
Check out Young’s highlight below, and more below from his usually entertaining post game thoughts on the game, including some from Kobe.
