Something has been noticeably different about Kawhi Leonard this season. He’s been aggressively embracing the task of being the primary, at times high-volume scorer for the Spurs.

On Saturday, Leonard went for a career-high 41 points along with six rebounds and five assists against the Cleveland Cavaliers. That wasn’t the only career-high for Kawhi:

He’s scored at least 30 points in his last six games and hasn’t shot below 50 percent while doing it.
