Basketball Society Skills Development Coaches Information
Martin played high school basketball at South Brunswick High School (NJ) where he graduated in 2007. Martin was a 3-year varsity starter. He is a 1,000-point scorer at SBHS and an All-Middlesex County performer. He helped lead SBHS to their first ever Central Jersey Group 4 sectional state championship in 2007. He played college basketball at Eastern University, where he graduated (BA) in 2012. Martin was a four-year starter and a 1,000-point scorer at EU and a 1st-Team All-MAC Conference performer. He is sixth all-time in points, third all-time in steals, fifth all-time in blocks, seventh all-time in assists and first all-time in steals at EU. Martin has competed overseas with USA Athletes International. He has volunteered as a coach at the college and youth recreation levels since 2013. Martin’s coaching specialties are scoring, quickness, footwork, awareness, and defense.
Khalil played high school basketball at Hightstown High School (NJ) where he graduated in 2016 as a 2-year varsity player. Khalil attended Pima Community College in Tuscon, Arizona where he was a member of the basketball team. He is the co-director and skills development coach for WeR1 609 (NJ). Khalil’s coaching specialties are guard play, ball handling, IQ, court awareness, and toughness.
