I realize that we’re late to the party on this one, but frankly this was just put to my attention that Errick McCollum put up 82 points in a CBA game at the top of this year. McCollum, whose brother C.J. is having a breakout season for the Portland Trail Blazers, shot 21-for-35 from the field and made 25 of his 27 free throw attempts for the Zhejiang Bulls. He also added 1o rebounds and 4 assists in 48 minutes of play. McCollum’s performance broke my friend Quincy Douby’s CBA record of 75 points a couple of years ago.
