The Houston Rockets gutted out a 116-111 overtime win against the New York Knicks on Sunday night, and Rockets center Dwight Howard provided Knicks rookie Kristaps Porzingis with his “welcome to the NBA moment,” when he crushed him with a monstrous alley-oop slam in the opening moments of the extra frame.

Porzingis’ statline of 20 points and 13 rebounds did best Howard’s 14 point, six rebound outing, but the Knicks squandered a sizable 14-point fourth-quarter lead in the loss. New York was without Carmelo Anthony who sat this contest due to an illness.

It was about time someone got their revenge on Porzingis, who has made a living of putting players on posters with his putback slams in the early parts of this season.
