Steph Curry set the record for three pointers made in a season with 272 back in 2012-2013. Two years later, he broke his own record with 286 and found himself raising the NBA that same season.

This season has proved just how good this man Steph Curry is at shooting the basketball. He has already made 378 with 5 games still left in the season.

According to Zach Harper of CBS Sports, Curry is on pace to make 403 three’s this season. A number that seemed so unfathomable only just a couple of years ago.

Via Zach Harper:

If you think that Curry can’t surpass the 400 mark, think again. With 5 games left, he needs to average 4.4 three’s per contest to pass the 400 mark. In a rare loss versus Boston, he was still able to make eight more three’s and then dropped nine 3-pointers the following game against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Think of it this way, with them still trying to beat the 1996 Bulls record of 72-10, Curry will be shooting his fair share of three’s, maybe even more than normal. He can pass the historic mark in the next three games with match-ups versus the Timberwolves, Spurs, and Grizzlies. He can torch the T-Wolves and will be trying to make a statement versus the Spurs.

He could maybe even do it in the next two. It’s going to be a fun final five games to watch.
