According to Ananth Pandian of CBS Sports, Bill Laimbeer said that LeBron James “can do more” than Michael Jordan.
Former Bad Boy and center of the Detroit Pistons, Bill Laimbeer, was asked on the Dan Patrick show if he would rather take LeBron or Jordan in their prime. Laimbeer answered with LeBron without any hesitation.

Laimbeer had some serious battles with Jordan in the late 80’s and early 90’s. He knows what it means to try to play defense against one of the greatest of all-time. He knows how prolific of a scorer Jordan really was, but he seems to think that LeBron is more of a threat because “LeBron can get you 18 rebounds, get you 15 assists, or score 50 if he wants to.” Could Laimbeer just be downplaying Jordan’s all-around talents because he’s bitter from their playing days? Maybe. Even if he is bitter or not, he makes pretty good points.
